Return & Refund Policy

The Hindu Today Standard Return and Refund Policy (hereinafter will be termed THT Return and Refund Policy) provides the guidelines for the return of products and refund of payment for the products/services purchased through The Hindu Today platform. Before entering into the details of the policy, please bear in mind that certain items once purchased cannot be returned and hence the payment made on these products cannot be refunded. These ineligible products include: 

·        Ebooks, courseware, and live classes

·        Images, photographs, and paintings

·        Apps, software, and downloads

·        Services and consultancies

 Return of Physical Products 

All physical products sold on The Hindu Today Platform can be returned within 14 calendar days of the receipt of the products. Only physical products of 3^rd parties that have been purchased directly from The Hindu Today store can be returned within the eligible due calendar days. Please ensure that the products you are returning are repackaged with all the relevant items and enclosures as those were shipped to you. Any discrepancy or damage to the products at your end cannot be allowed for return. 

If you receive any damaged product because of logistical issues, we advise you to record the video while unwrapping the package and send us that unedited video for the forensic check to ensure the authenticity of the damage. In case you find the product damaged while unwrapping, you can immediately raise a ticket for return and upload the original video with the ticket. Once your raised ticket is approved by the authorized team, we will inform you to immediately return that product and get the refund as per our refund policy. 

Refund Policy 

Once we receive your product, a refund process will be initiated immediately. If you have cancelled a product that has been en route your shipping address and you have already paid for it, we will immediately initiate your refund after you submit your cancellation request. The refund process will be subject to your payment method.  We will initiate the refund process within 5-7 working days and it takes approx. 12-14 days to complete the process. 

If you have paid by credit or debit card or net banking, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within five business days of receipt of the returned product or cancellation request. You can contact the card-issuing bank for a refund after five working days. 

Shipping Cost Refunds 

Return shipping costs of upto Rs. 100 will be refunded; however, for higher cost of shipping, you can contact the seller with proof of payment. All such refunds will be issued through cheques only.
